The West Jordan scan centre

If you would rather have someone else do it, our Utah scan centre takes a digital intraoral scan instead. A trained clinician passes a handheld wand over your teeth and builds a 3D map of both arches on screen. Nothing sets in your mouth and the appointment is usually done in about fifteen minutes.

It suits you if you are nearby and would find one short appointment easier than a task at home, if you have a strong gag reflex, or if you simply like the reassurance of asking questions face to face while looking at your own teeth on a monitor.

What happens at your West Jordan appointment

You approve your plan before you commit

Whichever route you take, the sequence is the same — and it is the opposite of the standard orthodontic model, where you commit to a treatment fee and then find out what the plan looks like.

Here, your 3D treatment plan is built first and sent to you to review. You see a projection of your predicted result, stage by stage, before your aligners are manufactured. If you are happy with it, treatment goes ahead and your aligners are made in the USA and shipped to you — typically in under two weeks.

Who can be treated
